I have achieved so many insane things that I didn’t think I would through this blog. From meeting Rihanna and Katy Perry, being a VIP guest for Lacoste at Coachella, been backstage as press for the victorias secret fashion show and been to various fashion weeks around the world (Russia, Barcelona, Paris).I’ve also been on a tv advert for Schwarzkopf and in all of the flagship stores for brands like Bershka and Dr Martens. Scroll down a little to take a look at who else I’ve worked with and what else I’ve been up to!
Also feel free to keep in touch via any of my social medias!
How old are you and Where are you from?
I’m 23 years old, my birthday is the 5th of January 1993 and I am originally from Sheffield, Yorkshire. I currently reside in my hometown with no immediate plans of moving!
How long have you been vegetarian and do you find it difficult?
I have been vegetarian for 6 years now, I do not find it that difficult and I don’t really have too much advice for anyone other than to educate yourself on reasons to do it and it may help you ‘stay strong’, and take a look at all my vegetarian related posts for recipes and other bits 🙂
What camera equipment do you use to shoot with?
I have shot with a variety of different cameras. My first one was a Nikon d3000 with the standard lense, then I moved onto the Nikon d7000 and a 50mm 1.8 lense. After a while I decided to invest in my Canon 6d and 85mm and 50mm lense. However, I now shoot with a more compact kit, which is the Fujifilm xe2 which is a mirrorless camera. More compact and less expensive. I shoot with a samyang fisheye lense and a 35mm (which acts as a 50mm would). I 100% recommend my fujifilm kit, I don’t know how I ever travelled without it!
How did you become a full time blogger? Tell me all the secrets to success
Lots of luck, lots of hardwork and a lot of perseverance. I started before instagram was even a thing, and I guess I would just recommend anyone who wants to blog to have good content, and post often. Always be authentic, love what you do, and stay grounded. Don’t start blogging hoping to become ‘big’, people can see through your intentions and I’ve found that most of the long timer bloggers are the ones who started when it wasn’t a job for anyone.
You went travelling for 10 months? How, why, where?!
Everything is answered in this post and video!
I would love to get some advice about backpacking alone, help!
I’m going to be working on lots of backpacking posts now I’m back so don’t worry, until then maybe take a look at a Q&A I did a while back when I came back from my first solo trip a couple of years ago!
How do you afford to travel so much?
I am incredibly lucky that this blog lets me travel to all sorts of places, but I also have to say that travelling is my biggest passion, so if I’m not travelling for work it’s usually just because I absolutely love exploring new countries and cultures and having a bit of an adventure somewhere completely new! Being able to afford stuff like that just comes down to saving up, like with anyone else.
How did you find Everest Base Camp, and advice?
A blog post on this / video should be coming in the next few months. Before I make that I would recommend thoroughly the company I used, gecko travels. I also would recommend it to absolutely everyone. I am in no way the fittest person in the world and although it was tough, it was doable, and was the single most insane thing I have ever done in my entire life.
