Where have you been?

Not only is the title fitting because Rihanna always has and always be an absolute BABE and my ultimate bikini body want, but I have been MIA for a week now - I'm sorry!
I've been ridiculously busy, sorting stock for my ebay store, and other tidbits, but I've been taking tonnes of quickie photos like these of outfits I've been chilling in (or rather, swealtering in!) since the sun has been around!
It's cooled down a little today thank goodness, but even I have been dying. I'm a very cold person usually aswell so for me to say that is pretty crazy!

AX PARIS tribal playsuit, carboot - £1
Faux YSL arty ring, ebay - £1.99
Feather toggle bracelet, c/o eclectic eccentricity
Faux Jeffrey Campbell Litas, c/o soyoushoes
Faux zara tan leather shopper tote, ebay - £18

I think this is one of the top thrifts I got at the weekend! It's a size 12 and I was going to get my mum to take it in cause its baggy but I like it. Plus, it's perfect to hide foodbabys (I'm the worst bloater ever, I look genuinely pregnant after a takeaway!) Also been wearing my hair in a ponytail because of the heat and because I laaaaav it at the moment!

AND finally, the winner of the soyoushoes contest isss......

LAURA @ thatssoyestreday !
Congrats gurl! and thankyou so much everyone for entering - will be having a few more giveaways etc and sorry it took ages to announce, I have been sat with a huge spreadsheet for the past 3 days to get the winner and I underestimated how hard it was with so many entries!

Hope you've all enjoyed the sun!

Scallop.

It's so so so sunny this week! I'm so happy - I'm such a summertime girl and love short shorts and and my bustier tops! I get cold far too easily, so it's rare that I don't travel with a hoody in my bag for good measure - but this weather is so amazing :-)

Blue chiffon scallop edge shorts, c/o Own the Runway
Topshop white oversized tee, ebay - £10
ASOS bitten platforms, gift
Red oversized large envelope clutch (other colours available!) , ebay - £11.50
Dreamcatcher necklace & Quill feather necklace c/o Eclectic Eccentricty (20% off using discount code SWF20)
Turquoise stone ring, Primark - £1.50

These shorts are ridiculously perfect. Topshop sell a similar pair of these floaty chiffon pastel blue scallop shorts, or at least did a while back. I tried to get my hands on some but they kept going for like £20+ on ebay and I couldn't justify them.
I was very chuffed to reieve them, coutesy of Own the runway! They're only £12.99 on the site aswell which I was shocked about as they are such good quality and I am so happy I finally own a pair of shorts I've been after for so long!

These necklaces are from one of my sponsors lovely Eclectic Eccentricity. I fell in love with the dreamcatcher necklace and have been wearing this with the feather necklace as a combo everywhere! I like experimenting with styles on this blog, and I love dipping into the 'hippy' or 'festival' kinda vibe! The guys at EE have given me a cheeky 20% off for you guys until June the 15th too using code SWF20!

My nails suit the shorts perfectly and it was in a pack of 4 from primark for £2! Lovely pastel colours, and I also got a neon set too. I'm such a cheap makeup kinda girl and I think 50p per polish aint too bad! The consistency is abit naff, but I only needed one coat and I think if you apply it right and have patience its absolutely perfect!

Sorry for shoddy lighting on the pictures. With it being so sunny I find it hard to get pictures right! Hope you've been able to enjoy the sun!

P.S. I'd really love it if you are a fan of my blog if you could vote for me in the 'Best established blog' category for the Cosmopolitan awards HERE. Would be really lovely :-) (I found it so difficult voting for my favourites - too many incredible blogs out there ar the moment!)

No light, no light.

I haven't been up to much really, other than trying to organise my life! I'm quite different to alot of girls, in the sense I don't have the 'I don't have anything to wear in my wardrobe symptom' even though you have too many. I acknowledge I have lots of things to wear, I just always rack my brains thinking of how to style them! Especially as I have lots of things from carboots which were 50p-£3, as I buy them without thinking and never ever feeling guilty haha!

H&M stripe crop top, carboot - £1
Waterfall black sheer drop hem skirt, c/o Glamorousuk
Faux Jeffrey Campbell Litas, c/o soyoushoes
Inverted Kora Cross Necklace, c/o Rock'n'Rose
Faux zara tan leather shopper tote, ebay - £18

This stripe top I saw poking out of a rail a while back, and the size 6 label drew me to it. There are rarely size 6's in the shops let alone a carboot! It's by H&M and is perfect like most of my crops, with riding pants, high waisted levis or skirts!
I'm in love with drop hem or 'waterfall' style skirts. In dresses or on their own, they are so so so perfect and I like how they make me look taller (much neeeeeeded!)

Hope you have all been well! Just a short one today , soyoushoes voucher winner will be announced in the next couple of days :-)

Can't say no.

Sequin collar detail blouse, c/o glamorousuk
Black topshop skinny jeans with stud detailing, for sale on ebay : youwearfashion
Red oversized large envelope clutch (other colours available!) , ebay - £11.50
Pointed zara heels, ebay similar HERE - £9
Spike detail bracelet, c/o yourfashionjewellery

I've started wearing my hair up in a high ponytail recently and I've actually really been liking it! The red clutch was an ebay buy a while ago and I wasn't sure if it was just too big? Like I like large clutches but this is actually massive. After uhmming and ahhing, I think it really is perfect and is nice for a 'pop of colour' with outfits. The ebay seller I got it from (it's only £11 - yes for cheap ebay bargains!) has tonnes of other colours and I was unsure which one to get between the red, navy and yellow envelope clutches. I decided red would match when I wear red lippie too, and the clutch is VERY good quaity. Like seriously, it's huge and very durable!

I also recieved this gorgeous bracelet courtesy of yourfashionjewellerycom - and everyone was pretty in love after I posted it on instagram! It's very light so doesn't weight your wrist down and I've had a ridiclous amount of comments from people! I'm falling in love with studs and spikes at the moment, I have to say!

The blouse is a gorgeous piece from my favourite online store, glamorousuk(As if you don't know!) ;-) And if you are a lover of these jeans, they're in my ebay shop right now!
I do like them but they're slightly big on the waist on me, so I hope they go to a good home. You can't see on the pictures but I added a few studs on them for a cute little unique twist so take a look HERE if they take your fancy ;-)

Hope you've all had a fabby weekend and are enjoying the weather if it isn't too bad where you are! Like I mentioned, my ebay store has stuff in it as I've been working hard sourcing it and it has a few studded shorts and jackets along with other bits of vintage and modern stuff :-) Let me know what you think etc, it's all just getting properly started up but it's so so exciting!

Dip dye

Hello guys! Long time no blog! First and foremost - so sorry for the blogging absense! Felt quite poorly and sometimes real life gets in the way of blogging life! I've taken lots of pictures of what I've been wearing though as Sheffield has been quite the sunny place (on and off)

H&M pink ombre dip dye hem top/skirt, H&M - £14.99 (still online!)
Vintage high waisted Levi shorts, ebay - £25
Faux Jeffrey Campbell Litas, c/o soyoushoes
Inverted Kora Cross Necklace, c/o Rock'n'Rose
Faux zara tan leather shopper tote, ebay - £18
Silver arm cuff, carboot - 50p

I instagramed a photo of me trying on this gorgeous H&M dip dye drop hem top and wasn't sure at first. Its a bit of a strange item & so unique to anything I've seen on the highstreet. James then sweetly bought it me as a part of my anniversary present (which is why we were in Manchester!) and if it gets his seal of approval then it must be good - hes even pickier than me! It's only £14.99 aswell! And still online and probably instore :-) Regarding sizing - mines a size 16! It was the last size there and it fits absolutely fine :-)

Hope you've all been well and enjoyed the weather, even if it has been a little on and off!
The SoyouShoes giveaway ends midnight tonight - so make sure you enter as you could win a voucher and get my shoes from this post (or others - your call!) ;-)

Queen Royalty.

I kinda wanted to save this post for the Queens Diamond Jubilee on the 5th of June, but I wear this all the time, and figured I really needed to show you at some point! Plus, I wore it on Saturday at my boyfriends whilst we chilled playing crash bandicoot and eating crap all day. I love slouchy days like that! We only ventured out once to nip to tesco for more food, and on the way took these snaps, his house has SUCH beautiful scenery compared to mine!

Union Jack British Flag Oversized Jumper, c/o sheinside (SIMILAR HERE ON EBAY!)
American Apparel Riding pants, ebay - £35
Faux Jeffrey Campbell Litas, c/o soyoushoes
Inverted Kora Cross Necklace, c/o Rock'n'Rose
Faux zara tan leather shopper tote, ebay - £18

He lives in a gorgeous litle Cul De Sac, hardly any cars parked on the road (they all have garages unlike my road haha) and a park right next to it. Taken a mental note to take more photos around there, especially as I'm usually in my nice clothes when I'm at his anyway, unlike sweats when I'm at mine!

The jumper is SO cosy and soft! Literally it came in the post and everyone who hugged me commented on how snuggly it was! It's the most oversized top and I haven't seen anything else like it anywhere! It's actually from one of my lovely sponsors advertised on my sidebar 'sheinside' and you'll probably see a few more pieces from them as I'm in love! They have given me a cheeky 20% off discount for you guys aswell if you want it! just use Kavita20 until May the 15th! You'll also see another sponsor of mine pop up recently, Eclectic Eccentricity, and I have so many gorgeous thing from them to show you too! So keep posted, I'm becoming a jewellery junkie!

Virgo.

As a fashion blogger, it is always such an incredible thing to be able to collaborate with different brands. Not only do I get to work wth brands I haven't heard of and then fall in love with, but it means I am able to run this blog better, as I can experiment with different styles. I am always very thankful and see myself as very lucky in thisaspect, but I only ever accept things that are relevant to this blog, my style and what I think you guys would like!

When I was lucky enough to be contacted by Virgos Lounge, I nearly died. You know by now I'm a 'fancy dresses' kinda girl. I love them, i love how they look, how they make me feel. And oh my god, the dresses on Virgos Lounge are Breathtaking!

Lilac Dress, c/o Virgos Lounge
ASOS bitten platforms, gift

I'm sporting my new pink lipstick on this too! Do you like? I only own one lipstick (yes, one!) and its my red lipstick I wear on a few of my posts. I will do a post on the brand as they are both the same brands! They are a very cheap brand, and cost £3. Yes, £3! It has the nicest consistency, it is very moisturing and not at all drying! I have dry lips so these are perfect and I've never tried a lipstick that compares! I am always asked how I do my makeup etc and I always have the cheapest makeup because I just don't see the point in paying £14 per lipstick and owning about a million! Guess thats why I would make an awful beauty blogger haha!

My ombre is now looking lighter! The brown dye is fading, and now it's a mix between the bright blonde I dyed it, and the dark brown I did after. I love it! Again, I will do a 'How to do a DIY ombre' as I know a few people really wanna do it - and you don't need to spend loads at a hairdresser!

I've got lots of exciting news about my ebay shop, and will be restocking this week with loads of stuff. My room is full of vintage and other loveliness I've been sourcing especially for it, and I'm so sad I can't keep it all! Thats the bad thing about owning the shop - It's all things I love myself and want to keep! Will tweet when they go up of course so look out for that!
